Mark03

Finished my first Markiplier doll today, somewhat decent I think. Finished his face and did some touch ups on his body, hands and feet. I will definitely have to resculpt the 2nd try because using just painting techniques to make his nose appear wider doesn't work well at all from most lighting angles. I'm a horrible photographer anyway which makes matters worse. These pics look a bit better than my last ones at least though with natural light as opposed to under my desk lamp. 2nd try will have a wider chin, wider nose, narrower forehead and resculpted lips. Painting technique worked somewhat to create the illusion of thinner lips, but resculpting will be better. I think the other doll already has a smaller head, but I also need to find a way to get the head to sit lower on the neck because that long neck looks ridiculous. I was considering cutting corners, but I always hate myself when I do that!

This one looks kind of like the love child of Markiplier and Orlando Bloom T_T lol Still, even though it's far from perfect, I have some love for him. Always feel like there's a bit of life in the things that people make. He could still make a good Warfstache if nothing else! If I don't make him Warfstache, he'll get a T-shirt, jeans and some glasses later.

My 2nd Markiplier doll attempt will probably be in 1 or 2 weeks. I have to finish some worbla armor (and tutorial for that) which is a very long process, and if weather is nice, I need to do a little painting while I can. The 2nd Mark will take significantly longer to do as well since a lot more work will be put into it. Plus his head may need additional shrinking come to think of it...
